Their Engagement
It was two years ago on Memorial Day weekend when Krista and Doug’s worlds would change in the most incredible way! Even though Krista loves fishing and boating at the cabin with Doug, she was traveling a lot and was hoping to spend a weekend at home. However, Doug had something special planned for them at the cabin that weekend. Krista and Doug love to spend time together at the cabin and Doug knew that it would be the perfect place to ask Krista to marry him!
After convincing Krista to go to the cabin, Doug was anxiously waiting for the perfect time to ask Krista a very important question. He knew the time was right when he and Krista were spending time with family relaxing. Krista was wearing a sweatshirt that said “Dog Mom” and he felt so much love for her in that moment, he just knew! Doug gushed about Krista and was saying the most amazing things about her. He couldn’t wait any longer! Krista didn’t know he was going to ask, but she knew exactly what to say. Krista said yes without a second thought!
Eagan Community Center Wedding
On another gorgeous Memorial Day weekend, Krista and Doug had a memorable wedding! Even though they had to postpone their wedding, their Eagan Community Center wedding couldn’t have been more perfect! Their ceremony was extremely meaningful with remembering those who have passed and couldn’t be with them on their special day by releasing balloons for each person. It was a wonderful celebration with all of their friends and family who haven’t seen each other in so long due to the pandemic. So, the reception was full of laughter and was a blast for everyone! Krista and Doug, we are so happy for you two and wish you all the best!
