Mackenzie and Garrett’s story unfolded against the breathtaking backdrop of the North Shore of Lake Superior. Their journey began with their families having neighboring cabins and evolved into a beautiful romance over time. Mackenzie and Garrett bonded by their love for winter and embarked on their first date cross-country skiing. They also share a love for exploring national parks, reading, running, and experimenting with new vegetarian recipes. Their relationship is built on honesty and support, and their connection grew every day that culminated in a magical engagement at Fantasia lookout on the North Shore. With how much meaning Lake Superior has to these two, it made perfect sense for their North Shore engagement session!

North Shore Engagement Session

Capturing the essence of Mackenzie and Garrett’s love was such a joy! The North Shore provided an idyllic setting, with its sweeping landscapes and incredible vastness of Lake Superior. The day of their engagement session brought a mix of rain and snow, leaving a delicate dusting of white on the ground. Surprisingly warm weather for December added a such a cool element of fog creating a magical atmosphere. Throughout the session, Mackenzie and Garrett’s playful dynamic and authentic connection shone through, making for a memorable and heartfelt moments. Additionally, their furry companion, Jerrod, joined in the fun, proving to be a perfect model!
