Standing there with his heart beating fast and nervousness creeping up, this is the moment he has been anticipating. He sees the doors open slowly and knows the moment is finally here. His pulse quickens even more. The whole world fades away as his gorgeous bride walks through the door. She’s like a princess glowing with the excitement of the day-it was finally here! They’re getting married! Jason steps forward as Amanda’s dad gives her a kiss on the cheek and gives away his daughter. They take each other’s hands, look each other in the eye, and say their promises to each other surrounded by all of their family and friends.
The unity of Jason and Amanda was so special and filled with many laughs! They had such a gorgeous winter wedding on a gorgeous day! Both Jason and Amanda are kind hearted and it is clear they have a lot of genuine care and love for each other. Throughout the whole day there were so many smiles and so much laughter shared by these two, with their bridal party, and all of their family. Their fun personalities shined through with the classic Mega Man music playing as the wedding party made their grand entrances into the reception.
Jason is an American Sign Language interpreter, so it was incredibly special when he signed his thank you to his parents who are deaf. Interpreters signed for the ceremony and reception, and so for Jason’s thank you speech to his parents, he instead signed and the interpreter spoke his words. It was amazing to watch the interpreters who were so passionate and so good at conveying the emotion from spoken words into sign language.
One of our favorite parts of the reception is the speeches. We get to learn more about the bride and groom from people who are very special to them. For Jason and Amanda’s wedding, they had two maids of honor and best men, so we got double the fun! Plus Gene, Amanda’s father, gave a wonderful speech where we discovered there was over 1500 years of love supporting Jason & Amanda in their marriage! Gene had all of the guests at each table add up their years of marriage-some tables had over 200 years! Then of course dances are always super fun, especially when the groom has to dance for the bride! In order for him to do the garter toss, Amanda had to approve of his dancing skills. Let me tell you-Jason can dance! It was so fun seeing all of the wedding guests fill up the dance floor and to see Jason & Amanda celebrate the night away!
Jason & Amanda, we wish all the best to you two! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Kujawa!
