Westwood Engagement Session

As she is getting ready to head home after a long day of work, she’s excited to get home and celebrate her birthday with her boyfriend, Tom! As she exits the building, Magda sees someone out of the corner of her eye but she is focused on getting home. She notices the person getting closer to her but Magda keeps on walking – she’s trying to avoid him! Finally the person calls out to her to wait! To her surprise, it’s Tom that she is trying to avoid! Right after realizing it was Tom, he gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him! She is so shocked and excited, and can’t help but think this is the best birthday yet!

Magda and Tom are lovers of travel and nature! Tom works with beef cattle and horse and Magda is going to school to become a veterinarian. Together, they like to hike, go white water rafting, and travel. A goal of theirs is to get to all of the National Parks. Magda and Tom are definitely an adventurous pair, which made perfect sense to do their engagement session in a beautiful outdoor area!

On the day of their session, the weather forecast was calling for impending storms – big ones at that too! We were a bit nervous that the storms would hit before we were done, but they held off for us! Then we only had to deal with Minnesota mosquitos and some humidity with the storms rolling in, but these two were troopers and trekked through it all! Their Westwood engagement session was wonderful with the prairie overlook, the boardwalk through the marsh, and the awesome pine forest!

For two outdoor enthusiasts, the Westwood Hills Nature Center was a perfect location! We had so much fun getting to know these two better and learning more about them! These two have so much care for each other and it was so great to see how much joy they share together. Magda & Tom, we’re so happy for you two and we’re so excited for your wedding later this year!
