Tracy & Josh

It all started at Rock Lake on fishing opener weekend. Josh and Tracy were fishing together, which is something they love to do together, when Josh popped the big question. Of course, Tracy said yes! Together, these two love to do all things in the outdoors like biking, hiking, and running! Tracy and Josh are such thoughtful, caring and kind individuals welcomed us into their day fully and their wedding was absolutely amazing. Even though their planning had an added element of stress with so many changes, their day was wonderful and they focused on the positives.

To start the day, the crew got ready at the Thayer Hotel, which is a historic hotel built in the late 1800s. The architecture and furniture throughout the hotel and in the rooms was really neat and made for some great photo backdrops! Their ceremony was meaningful, traditional, and included a wedding cord ceremony where the wedding cord was placed around Tracy & Josh in a figure 8 loop by their mothers. The cord symbolizes lifetime unity and the everlasting union of Tracy & Josh as they become husband and wife while the loop symbolizes their love to one another. The reception at the Fairhaven Farm was absolutely gorgeous and we love the golden hour shots we were able to sneak in towards the end of the night!

We had a great time at their wedding and being with their entire bridal party and families! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! We know Tracy & Josh have wonderful support in their marriage through their friends and family and we wish them all the best!
