To Michelle and Peter, family is one of the most important things in the whole world. At a younger age, Peter’s grandfather got sick with cancer, but throughout all of his treatments and surgeries, he would not take off his wedding ring. He would always refuse the nurses’ requests to take it off and would make sure he had in on all the time. His love for his wife, Patricia, was absolutely unending and when he passed, she wore his ring around her neck. When Peter asked Michelle to marry him, his grandma decided it was time to pass on his grandfather’s ring for him to wear as his wedding band with the notion to hold his love for Michelle just like his grandpa did for his grandma. When Michelle found out about the wedding band, he had it engraved with Peter’s grandparents wedding date as well as their date. Additionally, Michelle’s wedding band is her late grandmother’s ring with her engagement ring from Peter. So for Michelle and Peter’s Willow Brooke Farm wedding, they incorporated so many pieces of their loved ones.

Willow Brooke Farm Wedding

Set in the valley, Willow Brooke Farm is incredibly enchanting and an absolutely gorgeous venue. When we met with Michelle, she told us that she loves the old historic barn and the vines climbing the silo. So we made sure to do her and Peter’s first look with that in the background. Then we ventured to the vineyard and had some fun taking amazing photos while Michelle and Peter ate some grapes! Then when it came time for their ceremony, the message was incredibly meaningful and the music was amazing.

When it came time for the reception, they had such great speeches and first dances. Since Peter and his grandma have such a wonderful relationship, he surprised her with a special dance! After his dance with his mom, he called his grandma to the dance floor and they danced to his grandparent’s first dance song from their wedding. It was truly special just like their whole day! Michelle and Peter, we had such a wonderful time with you two and wish you all the best!
