Allie and Dray both love doing outdoorsy things and they also both work in natural resources. They love all things to do with nature and are big supporters of sustainability. So when it came time to plan their wedding, they wanted to plan a wedding that supported those efforts. They wanted to find a venue that supported sustainability, education, and the environment which is near and dear to their hearts, so the McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center was a perfect choice!
McColl Pond Summer Wedding
Their McColl Pond summer wedding was small, personal, and was to the beat of Allie and Dray’s tune. It was the perfect way for them to celebrate and catch up with friends and family who traveled in from all over the country! Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful and was so special with Allie’s brother and Dray’s sister performing the ceremony. Family is really important to Allie & Dray and they have a lot of wonderful connections. In fact, Allie’s diamond in her ring belonged to her great-grandmother and possibly goes further back than that! She was able to take her great-grandmother’s diamond and get a custom designed ring that is absolutely gorgeous! What an incredible tradition and bond!
When it was time for the ceremony, we got to hear some really hilarious stories about Dray and Allie growing up and the whole room was filled with laughter. Really their whole day had so much laughter and was so relaxed! Their whole day was seamless and their family was absolutely incredible with welcoming me in to their special day!
Allie and Dray, I am so unbelievable happy for you two and so honored to have been a part of your day! I hope you had a great rest of your night celebrating away! We’ll have to go camping together soon!!
