Taylor & Jacob

Taylor and Jacob have such a strong, rooted relationship. They are both very humble, kind, and thoughtful individuals. Not only are Taylor and Jacob just two of the most amazing people ever, they have wonderful friends and family who truly made their wedding the best day ever! They all made us feel so welcome throughout the day and they had just the best celebration! Every part of their day was done with intention and was extremely meaningful. While the day might’ve been hot outside, it didn’t stop them from having such a lovely Eau Claire wedding!

Lovely Eau Claire Wedding

For Taylor and Jacob’s first look, we had a lovely location outside Peace Church where after seeing his lovely bride for the first time, Jacob was wonderfully surprised with Cheez-its! It was so cool to see their personalities show during that moment and it resulted in such beautiful bride and groom portraits! Then we headed inside for Taylor to do a first look with her dad and then her brother, which was so special!

Throughout the whole day, there were so many amazing moments and their ceremony at Peace Church was definitely one of them! Beyond the great sermon and union of Taylor & Jacob coming together, Jacob’s astounding dip to kiss his bride was for sure a highlight! The bridal party and all the guests sure thought so too!

Reception

Never in our experience have we felt like we needed to have ear plugs at the grand entrance of the bride and groom at the reception, but the cheers to Taylor and Jacob were like no other! The entire crowd was in a standing ovation and clearly showed their love and excitement for these two! It was truly awe-inspiring of the emotion of their friends and family and displayed the strong bonds of all of their relationships.

At the reception, Neil was taking pictures of the bridal party at the head table, and I (Erica) was at the very back of the reception taking pictures of the cake and some other gorgeous details. All of a sudden, I hear a commotion at the front of the reception and I thought..oh no..someone is hurt! People are yelling! Then I realize people are chanting “Neil! Neil! Neil!”. Turns out that the groomsmen starting chanting Neil’s name and then some of the guests all started in on it! And I later learned this wasn’t the first time it happened! During the getting ready portion, before Neil had even met the groomsmen, they happily chanted his name as Jacob brought Neil into the room.

Have you ever had a group of people chant your name as you enter a room? The second you hear it, it warms your heart and you can’t help but smile. What’s even more amazing is when the group chanting your name just met you earlier that day! To come in as photographers and have that type of reaction, emotion, and inclusion shows just how incredible Taylor & Jacob, all of their friends, and family truly are!

Dance, Dance, Dance!

After all of the spectacular, heartfelt speeches from the best man, maid of honor, and the parents, it was time to dance! Taylor and Jacob’s first dance as a married couple was so special and their dances with their parents were so exceptional, memorable, and full of love and emotion. Again, the strength of their relationships and bonds between all of their family were so evident and remarkable to witness!

By the time the DJ put on a faster tune, holy moly did the dance floor fill up! Not only was everyone having a blast, but it stayed that way all night long! It was so fun to see everyone be able to participate in Taylor and Jacob’s awesome day and celebrate the night away with them!

Taylor and Jacob, you two are exceptional people and we’re so honored to have been a part of your phenomenal day! We are so incredibly happy for you two and hope you are having a blast on your honeymoon!
