Janey & Logan
July 25th, 2020
Today is the day. She slips on her dress, her shoes, and her jewelry. Her heart starts beating faster as the realization of the day starts to set in. She hugs her mom and dad, and gets ready for the adventure to begin.
As she walks forward, the view of the lake, the mountains, and her husband to be are so serene and perfect that the true happiness of this moment come out as tears. Janey approaches Logan for the first time with all the joy in the world. Logan waits in anticipation to see, hug, and share in the joy of their magical mountainside wedding day. As Logan turns to see his bride, true emotion pours out as this day has finally come.
Magical Mountainside Wedding
She takes her Dad’s arm and they proceed to walk up the aisle. The moment is here. She looks up at her groom and there was hardly a dry eye there. Janey and Logan said their vows and signified their unity with lighting a flame using Logan’s parents’ unity candle from when they were married over 40 years ago.
There were so many special and meaningful moments throughout the day that were also accompanied with genuine laughter. One of my favorite moments of a wedding day are the toasts and speeches. They allow for us to get to know the couple from other’s points of view and we love hearing stories. For Janey and Logan, their toasts were so amazing! A poem from Lisa, one of her maid of honors, a new story from Anna, Janey’s matron of honor, and wonderful quips from Janey’s dad and her brother Calvin. We also were able to hear a beautiful toast from Logan’s dad at the groom’s supper, which we were blessed to be able to attend on Friday night.
Celebrating the night away
For Janey & Logan’s first dance, they did a beautiful choreographed dance to their song. Apparently they learned the dance just the week before their magical mountainside wedding! All of the first dances were incredible with the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance. And the rest of the reception was nothing less than spectacular! It was filled with dancing, s’mores, games, and so much fun with celebrating the night away!
It is not an understatement when we say how amazing Janey & Logan, their families, and friends are and how much of a blast we had the entire day at their wedding! We had so many great conversations and deep belly laughs that don’t just happen with anyone.
There is a saying that if you surround yourself with great people, you’ll be great yourself. Janey and Logan are those two people who not only bring out the best in each other, but every person they surround themselves with. They are the most caring, gracious, giving, and grateful people. We cannot be more thankful to have shared their magical mountainside wedding with them and be able to hold onto these special memories forever.
Janey & Logan, we know many loved ones couldn’t be there to help you celebrate, which can be so hard and emotional. The joy and love you two share together shine brightly through your photos. So, we hope your loved ones can share the joy and love and feel as though they were there through the emotions captured.
Janey & Logan, you two are so special to us and we are so happy to see you start your wonderful adventure of marriage!
