Sarah & Peter

Through mutual friends, Sarah and Peter were introduced to each other. Not long after that, they went on their first date to dinner and a movie. First dates can be nerve wracking but it didn’t take long to for Sarah and Peter’s nerves to settle because after sitting down for dinner and ordering wine, the waitress accidentally spilled wine all over both of them! That was definitely an ice breaker! Clearly, it made for an incredibly memorable first date because Sarah and Peter have been together ever since! Additionally, they connected about growing up in same town! They lived in the area all of their lives but didn’t cross paths until that first introduction from their friend!

A surprise at the lake

Together, Sarah and Peter are very adventurous! They love to hike, fish, camp, and go snowboarding. One of their favorite things to do is going up north and spending time in Duluth. For one of their weekends away, Sarah and Peter had a lovely getaway at Lake Mille Lacs planned. However, Peter had something even more wonderful up his sleeve for Sarah on one of their nights on the lake! After an incredible day, the two were winding down on the dock at sunset. Peter was anxious in anticipation leading up to a big question he had to ask, but luckily for him, Sarah didn’t notice his nervousness! With perfect timing at sunset, Peter knew the time was right and he couldn’t wait to ask Sarah to marry him and start to build a future together. She didn’t hesitate and said yes!

Blue hill engagement session

We had a blast with Sarah and Peter for their Blue Hill engagement session! We had absolutely perfect weather for mid-May with a beautiful sunny evening and these two were all laughs all evening long! Their session was so much fun and their love for each other is clearly evident in their photos together. Plus, these two love to go on hikes at the location we did their photos, so it is extra meaningful for them to have their engagement portraits here! Sarah and Peter, we had a great time getting to know you two better and we’re so excited for your wedding in October!
